Dawlish Warren is situated on the South Devon Coast at the mouth of the River Exe. It has a long sandy beach, 18 hole golf course and a nature reserve, along with a wide variety of holiday entertainment. It attracts visitors throughout a long season and boasts about 10,000 bed spaces. Warren Road is the main approach road to the beach from the majority of the holiday parks.

Giggles has been established for a number of years as a fancy dress and joke shop, which attracts local customers as well as the holidaymakers. The proprietor also provides helium balloons and face-painting, as well as mail-order and wholesale service. Further storage space is available nearby.
